Tangie CT

I recently saw a CT call for a new designer named Tangie Baxter. I was wooed by her offer to allow you to mix and match items, and that she prefers quality over quantity. It takes me sooo long to do a LO that this was important to me.

(I recently guest CTd for a month with another designer and she and her CT team pumped new designs and LOs out so fast I was overwhelmed! I need to take my time, since I have scrappers OCD! )

Anyway, I sent Tangie the link to my DST gallery and she invited me to join her team! I have done just a few LOs using her items, but they are a good fit for my style.

She is very creative and creates the most AMAZING glitter papers!

We have a new family member...

No, I haven't had another baby (Mom...)
We have decided to adopt a ferret. Her name is Zoe and she's only about 7 weeks old. She is sooo cute and tiny. And is doing so good with her litter box training after just a few days.
My kids have been asking for a new pet. My son Shane, 20, has been asking for a parrot or a dog, and my daughter Lynnea has been begging for a kitten or little dog.
Bear, our 100 lb. chocolate Lab is my boy! I can't see myself with another dog while I have him. He's sweet, and easy going, and I have been spoiled by how easy he is to take care of. And he would be so jealous.
So, we compromised --- and got the ferret. She is little and playful like a kitten, can be taught tricks like a parrot, stays in a cage when we're not here, and is no competition for Bear.
So, welcome ZOE! I hope you like here in your crazy new home...

Mikkel Paige CT

So, for the last few months I have been a "volunteer" CT for a very talented up & coming digital scrap designer Mikkel Paige.

I had seen one of her LOs and inquired as to where I could purchase some of the elements on her page. I was delighted to hear that she had designed them herself, but dissappointed that they were not availble for purchase.

Well, just a few days later, I got an email saying that Oscraps.com was looking for a few new designers. So, I emailed Mikkel and nudge, nudge, suggested she apply.

I was not at all surprised to hear that she was soon to open her new store at Oscraps. Yeah Mikkel!! I told her I would love to CT for her, and yay, she accepted! For the past few nmonths I have been her only CT, but now she 's having a CT call -- I can;t wait to meet the talented ladies that she chose!
